About 500 kilometers from Tokyo, Higashiosaka Hanazono Rugby Stadium can be found on the outskirts of Western Japan’s second-largest city, Osaka. The stadium, which opened in 1929 and has a capacity of 30,000, is Japan’s oldest rugby-dedicated stadium and hosts the annual National High School Rugby Tournament each December. The stadium is about 1 kilometer from Higashi-Hanazono Station (A12) on the Kintetsu Nara Line.
